Implant Evolution. We chose this name because it sums up the world of dental implants today. Going forward, who knows how big the implant market will become! Just imagine how many implants will be done in the next 5,10, or 20 years. Everyone can easily see that the dental implant market is evolving at breakneck speeds and because of this, information and education can be quite overwhelming. This is why we have created a journal that gives every dentist accurate, real world case studies and cutting edge clinical direction backed by authoritative research. We are proud to say that our contributing editors are world class practitioners that have mountains of advanced implant knowledge, yet their presentations have practical information that can be applied daily to every dental practice.

Over 100 years ago, my grandfather and great-grandfather (both dentists) couldn’t even begin to imagine the possibilities implants now offer. They would be absolutely stunned to see the biomimetic results that are now considered the standard of care for implant dentistry. Starting 25 years ago, my father (another dentist) taught me solid implant principles in a general dentistry practice. I still see those patients today and their long term successes show me that implants really work and quite often, they work much better than natural teeth. So much so that implants are now considered the gold standard for replacing a missing tooth. The annual growth rate for the dental implant market is increasing exponentially and more dentists are doing complete implant procedures, from grafting to surgical placement to final restorations. Long term successes are phenomenal. Patients show up wanting implants. Insurance pays for implants! It’s really quite obvious that implants are the future of modern dentistry.

Our motto is “Implants For Every Dentist”. We really mean that. Every dentist deserves the right to learn solid implant dentistry and we think Implant Evolution is a great venue to help accomplish this goal.
